Recovering the Master Account of a Chinese Car

How to recover the master account of a Chinese car app: what is required, why the SMS does not arrive and how to get a Chinese +86 number.

▸ Knowledge Base

The master account of a Chinese car is recovered with a Chinese +86 number: the verification code is delivered only there. If the account belongs to the first owner in China, a new +86 number (eSIM) is needed — KitSim issues it within one day.

The master account is the car's main account: drivers are linked through it and remote functions, updates and subscriptions are enabled there. When a car is resold, the number changes or access is lost, recovery always hits the same wall — the verification code goes only to a Chinese +86 number.

When this matters

How recovery works

  1. The owner sends details: phone, email, your name and surname in Latin letters as in your passport, the passport number and, if available, the car VIN.
  2. We issue a Chinese +86 number as an eSIM — usually within one day.
  3. The owner installs the eSIM: no need to change the phone.
  4. They recover or create the master account in their brand's app with that number.

We work with all brands: Zeekr, Li Auto, BYD, Chery, Geely, Nio, XPeng, Voyah, Avatr, Great Wall, MG. Support in English and Russian; renewal in one year with a reminder in advance.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Chinese +86 number cost?

Issuing the number costs 68 KWD. Renewal for the next year is 36 KWD/year.

How long does issuance take?

Usually one day after the owner's documents are received.

What is required from the car owner?

A phone number, email, car model, your name and surname in Latin letters as in your passport, and the passport number. No document photos, selfie or office visit required.

Does my phone support eSIM?

You do not need eSIM in your phone. Any smartphone works — even one without eSIM: iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, Huawei, Android and others. We issue and manage the +86 number itself.
