Chinese +86 number vs Beeline: what is the difference

Beeline bundles a Chinese number into its beeChina plan; KitSim (Kuwait) issues a number for the job — master account, SMS in your app, account recovery. An honest comparison.

▸ Knowledge Base

Beeline provides a Chinese number as part of its beeChina plan: you need their SIM and a verification with a passport photo and a video. KitSim issues a +86 number separately, on a foreign passport, within 30 minutes to 2 hours, and handles the whole job — master account binding, SMS delivery to your app, and recovery when the account still belongs to the previous owner.

In short: what matters

What a bundled Chinese number gives you

The carrier and China Mobile arrangement works like this: you take a local plan, and a Chinese number is linked to it for calls and SMS. For calling China and receiving codes from ordinary services, that is convenient — one card, one bill.

The limitation is in the model, not the quality: the number is an add-on to a plan, and nobody handles the car or the master account. A Chinese car app is a separate story with its own logic of binding, transfer and recovery.

What to do if you already have a number

If you already have a Chinese number and the app still will not bind, the problem is usually the master account rather than the number: the car is attached to a previous profile. In that case we recover access and move the account to a new +86 number — independently of where the first number came from.

Frequently asked questions

How does a Beeline Chinese number differ from a KitSim number?

A Beeline number comes as part of the beeChina plan: their SIM is required and verification needs a passport photo and a video with the passport in frame. A KitSim number is issued separately, on a foreign passport — name in Latin script and passport number, no photos or videos.

I already have a Chinese number — why contact KitSim?

Because the problem is usually the master account, not the number: if the car is bound to a previous owner or access is lost, a number alone will not solve it. We recover access and move the account to a new +86 number.

Do I need a local mobile plan to get a +86 number?

No. The number is issued without a carrier plan: there is no SIM to insert, the number runs on our side, any smartphone works, and SMS arrive in the app on your phone.

Are document photos or a passport video required?

No. To issue the number we need the name in Latin script as in the document and the foreign passport number. Document photos and selfies are not required.

How long does it take to issue the number?

From 30 minutes to 2 hours from the start of the issuance procedure.
