Key points
- eSender is a Chinese service for issuing Chinese +86 numbers and receiving SMS.
- eSender and esender.su are different things: esender.su is the KitSim website where you order a number; eSender is the Chinese service the numbers are issued through.
- You do not need to sign up with eSender, deal with a Chinese interface or pay with a Chinese card — we handle that.
- Doing it yourself through eSender is expensive and hard: Chinese payment methods only, interface in Chinese, no support in European languages.
- With KitSim you pay by card, bank transfer, and get support in Russian, English and other languages.
What eSender is
eSender is a Chinese service that issues Chinese +86 numbers and shows the SMS arriving on them. Chinese car apps (Li Auto, Zeekr, BYD, Voyah, Avatr, Geely, Chery and others) send the confirmation code only to +86 numbers — without such a number the account cannot be registered.
eSender vs esender.su
The similar names are no coincidence, which is why they get mixed up. esender.su is the KitSim website: here you place an order, send your passport details and receive a +86 number. eSender is the Chinese side the number is issued through. You never have to go there yourself: we issue the number and keep it working, and SMS arrive in an app on your phone.
What is needed to get a number
- First and last name in Latin letters, exactly as in your passport.
- The passport number. No document photos and no selfie.
- A phone number and email for contact.
No Chinese passport is required. Issuance takes 30 minutes to 2 hours from the start of the issuance procedure.
How you use the number
- You place an order on esender.su.
- You send your passport details.
- You receive a +86 number — it works as an eSIM: the number's card stays on our side, nothing to install, no QR code.
- You register in your car's app with that number — SMS arrive in an app on your phone.
What does not work
- Free and disposable online numbers: the code never arrives or the number dies within minutes.
- Numbers for WhatsApp, Telegram, TikTok: Chinese numbers are not accepted there — and they are no good for a car account either.
- Buying a Chinese SIM while travelling: the number is registered to you in China and stops working once you leave.
A year later the number is renewed — we remind you in advance.
