Li Auto (Lixiang): how to transfer the master account in the app

Li L9, Li L8, Li L7, Li L6, Li Mega, Li i8 — the master account in the Li Auto App is bound to a Chinese +86 number. When the car is sold the account has to be handed over to the new owner, and if access is lost it has to be recovered: both are confirmed by a code sent only to a +86 number.

What does not work without a +86 number

How to transfer the Li Auto (Lixiang) account

1. The previous owner opens the Li Auto App and unlinks the car from their master account.
2. The new owner adds the car by VIN and confirms the SMS code.
3. The code goes to the Chinese +86 number. If it is lost or registered to the previous owner, we issue a new number within a day.
4. Once confirmed, the car moves into the new owner's profile together with remote features and subscriptions.

If the previous owner is unavailable, access is recovered on a new +86 number. Support in Russian, English and other languages.
