Li Auto App Activation Outside China

Outside China the Li Auto (Lixiang) app requires a Chinese +86 number for registration, master account and owner linking. How to get one — KitSim.

▸ Knowledge Base

Outside China the Li Auto app will not register an account with a local number: the verification code is sent only to a Chinese +86 number. Without it you cannot link the owner or recover the master account. KitSim issues a +86 number as an eSIM within one day.

Li Auto (Lixiang) cars come with an app tied to a Chinese master account. Outside China the app does not send verification codes to local numbers — a Chinese +86 number is required, otherwise the driver is left without car control, updates and remote functions.

What does not work without +86

What KitSim does

  1. We issue a Chinese +86 number as an eSIM, usually within one day after receiving the owner's documents.
  2. The owner installs the eSIM alongside their own SIM: no need to change the phone.
  3. They register a new account or recover the master account in the Li Auto app.
  4. One year later the number is renewed — we remind in advance.

We support Li L9, Li L8, Li L7, Li L6 and Li Mega. Support is available in English and Russian.
